So, I’ve been so impressed by this free Stereo Enhancer that I just had to share it with you. Meet A1StereoControl by A1Audio. Not just a normal stereo width plugin, this one has some great features like switchable pan curves, channel swap and my favourite ‘Safe Bass‘. And best of all, it’s free. It’s gone straight into my everyday use folder.
‘Safe Bass‘ allows you to mono the bass frequency content in a sound below a selected value while still adding the width to the range above it. Just switch on ‘Safe Bass’ and adjust the frequency, that’s it. I know other plugins do this, but pair this up with a simple to use interface, some really nice natural sounding stereo width and you got a winner!
