Who doesn’t love the 80’s? The shoulder pads, leg warmers and big hair!
Well the lovely guys over at Loops de la Crème are giving away a free sample pack with that other great icon from the era, the 80’s snare! Featuring 20 one-shot samples, the pack includes raw electro snares, toms and claps, 80’s style acoustic drum samples that ooze Phil Collins and a bunch of mixed and processed sample to give your track that instant 80’s vibe. All samples are 24bit, 48kHz WAV files and the download is only 9MB.
Loops de la Crème have also written up a wicked little tutorial on creating 80’s snare drums. It’s got some primo sound design tips and is well worth a read.
